E-MAILS ON THE SUBJECT

Hi Maitland,

Just got a copy of the letter from the Invergordon Community Councillor Chairman, Donald MacKenzie, advising the committee that he no longer wishes to be associated with the I.D.I.
Taking into consideration the implications such a resignation will have on the future funding of the I.D.I. do you think that the I.D.I. has a future in Invergordon?

I have almost completed the next issue of the 'Highlander' and this e-mail will be included, if you are able please advise me by return of your sentiments, otherwise I can include it in the February issue.
Many thanks.

Euilleam.

Hi Martin,

I got a note from the Invergordon Community Council's Chairman, Donald MacKenzie highlighting his resignation from the Invergordon and District Initiative. In it he claims that through the behaviour of two I.D.I. members, Marion Rhind and Marion Mackay he felt he had no alternative but to take the action he has taken.

I think this will reflect on the ability of the I.D.I. to secure public funding.

If you would like to comment or reply to this e-mail please feel free. The January 'Highlander' will be printed very soon, so try to respond ASAP.

Many thanks.

Euilleam.

To date your editor has had no response but he will keep on trying to secure an opinion from both Mr Hyslop and Mr Rattray. Any reader who has an opinion on the matter please contact the `Highlander'.
